Radiation Litmus Paper

Radiation Litmus Paper Radiation Litmus Paper is the first low dose colorimetric radiation detector. It has the sensitivity to detect as low as ~15 millirem (calibrated for Cs-137 g, which is over 1,000 times lower than the next most sensitive colorimetric detector (50 rem), and well below occupational exposure limits (5 rem). A paper and presentation both fully describing Radiation Litmus Paper are linked. The Radiation Litmus Paper team consisted of Ben Warner, Deidre Johns, Tony D'Alessio, and Kimberly Sheafe.)
