Los Alamos Hydrogen Research Featured on MSNBCLos Alamos National Laboratory: An artist's conception of the one-pot method for transforming ammonium borane into hydrogen fuel and an illustration of how the technology, which doesn't produce greenhouse gasses, is good for the planet.

Technology developed at Los Alamos for storing hydrogen fuel in the form of hydrazine, which is then easily recycled, was highlighted in MSNBC's "Future of Technology" series on August 31st, 2011.

The scientific advance was originally described in Science in March of this year.  The Los Alamos researchers envision an ammonia borane fuel tank that is used to fuel cars, then taken out and sent to a factory to be recharged.
