C-Analytical Chemistry Sciences (C-ACS) is an integrated service, research, and development group. Research supports the service department with method and instrumentation development, while the analytical services and QA teams support method development and provide a test bed for applications. Major programs support the Department of Homeland Security, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and Department of Justice. The analytical services department provides legally defensible analytical data on a wide variety of sample types and constituents. The group is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
